#12 Waterfront

The camp waterfront originally consisted of a rather rustic dock which went out 20 or so feet into the water. In 1935 a thousand dollar dock was built with $200 by Joe Pinel who was rewarded for his efforts by being made Camp Committee Chairman. The original waterfront cabin was built in 1939 in the shape of ship's hull. It was replaced with the present day building in the early 1960's. In 1977 it was converted into the Campmaster Lodge. It is used every weekend to house the volunteer Campmasters and their families. In the early 1960's the pond was stocked with Large Mouth Bass and as you can see they have grown over the years.
