#13 Smoky Gulch
| Popularly known as "Smoky Gulch", this was the scoutcraft area for the camp during nearly all the years the camp was operated as a summer Boy Scout Camp. An untold number of Scouts learned the rudiments of cooking here. It was also the site of an ice-house where ice cut from the pond in winter was stored for summer use. Here, also, was the first council campfire ring. In the early 1980's it was converted into the Archery Range and is used in all the summer programs as well as most weekends the rest of the year. |
