#17 Camp Nature Trail
| If you follow the trail around the pond shown in red below you will come to a cleared area that was used for a rifle range in the early 1960's It replaced an earlier range that at the time was not on our property. The trail you are on goes all the way around the pond and was established long before the camp opened. Undoubtedly every Scout who ever came to Massasoit has hiked this trail. In early spring this path can be hard to walk as part of it is under water in a wet spring. |
