#2 Tug Horton Council Ring
| The council campfire ring, the second to serve the camp, was opened up in the late 1930's. In 1949 it was dedicated as a memorial to "Tug" Horton, a popular athletic director for camp. Ashes from the fire ring have been carried to jamborees around the world. When camp was in season, it rang with laughter, song, and cheers. In the 1990's the King Philip OA Lodge built benches and a stage. |
